Frankie Ward, a Dallas native, is humbled by the opportunity to serve as the Director of Student Life at Dallas College. She is a higher education professional and a visionary leader with a keen sense for strategy and forward thinking. She is a graduate of Lamar University with a BA in Entrepreneurship, and her M.B.A. in Construction Management. She possesses 12 years of experience in student affairs specializing in developing quality co-curricular programs that increase student learning, engagement, social awareness, and leadership to prepare students to be successful and responsible citizens. Frankie is passionate about creating opportunities for the growth and education of students and has proven this through an extensive list of accomplishments and generated programs for students throughout her professional work.
In her prior years at Tarrant County College, Frankie Ward served as the Student Development Associate for Student Activities, Advisor of Student Government Association locally/regionally/state level, Co-Chair of the D.E.I.B (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) Campus Committee, Founder and Chair of D.A.S.H.H. (Drugs, Alcohol, Sex, Harassment and Hazing) Prevention Initiative and Bringing In The Bystander (BITB) Facilitator. She also served on many committees’ district wide, and currently serves as co-advisor on the Texas Junior College Student Government Association - Region II. Frankie Ward is an effective advocate for students and higher education. Having firsthand experience in student activities/life, Frankie believes in promoting student well-being, sense of belonging, engagement, and diverse learning experiences. |
