LEONARDO LYALLLEGACY MEMBER
Hello, my name is Leonardo Lyall I am the current TJCSGA Region 2 President representative. I am from Dallas college Richland campus; I am majoring in Experimental Psychology with a minor in Philosophy.
Now at Dallas College, I am involved in the Male Achievement Program, and active Vice President of History Club, as well as the richland chronicle not including my local SGA. I have a variety of favorite activities I enjoy including, nature walks, botany, violin, traditional art, psychology research, philosophy, and writing poetry. I even enjoy a small game of soccer, basketball, adding running as well. My interest has helped me achieve a lot of medals in primary school years. Including 2 gold medals from the Jr. VASE for middle school artist and, 6 gold medals from VASE for high school artist. Along the way I also achieved 3 gold medals for community service, a big personal achievement of mine is my own graduation from high school not only did I graduate a year early I was also alive to see it. So many things inspire me just daily but to become the President Representative for Region II was mostly my younger self, wanting to give myself a chance to live freely and remember I am more than things people have done. Then also my college, showing so many that those of us at not only the Richland campus but all of Dallas College that we students from these junior colleges deserve so much more recognition for who we are and our dreams. As Region II President I will do everything in my power to not just bring everyone together, but also to help us all grow and mature during our time here. I hope during my time as your president I can help everyone realize that we are all one and that we shouldn’t compete for glory. It is better to know that being the best is not about who can achieve the most but knowing when to step down to let others have a chance, because the things you hold on to will prevent you from looking towards the future. |
