KELLY SONNANSTINEAdvisorMy name is Kelly Sonnanstine, I am honored to serve as the co-advisor for Region 2 of TJCSGA as well as the TJCSGA Advisor Association President. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Newberry College in Newberry, SC and both my Master of Public Administration and Master of Professional Studies with an emphasis in leadership from Hodges University in Fort Myers, FL.
Some fun and interesting things about me are that I learned to throw a football from NFL Hall of Fame Member and Superbowl Winning Quarterback Johnny Unitas (He was the Tom Brady of his day.) I am also a Disney fanatic. Since I grew up in Fort Myers, FL I visited Walt Disney World at least once a year from the time I was nine years old until I got my own car and then I drove up at least 6 times a year. And finally, I am that crazy lady that has a tiny dog that she insists that she loves wearing clothes, but it is true, and I have videos to prove it. I love being part of Region 2 because I love to watch you as students grow and learn. My own college experience was so drastically different, but through Region 2. I am able to see parallels in our two experiences. Plus, competition drives me. I am the Co-Advisor to the Executive board. I help and guide your board to create a wonderful and exciting Fall and Spring Conference and to prepare you for the State Convention. |
I have always been a planner and thinking up big plans and watching them become reality is a true joy for me. I’m just here to help you all grow and hopefully to be able to help you think things through and create great memories. I just want to see you all succeed as Region 2 and as individual chapters.
I encourage you all to think BIG, and dream BIG, and to expect great things from yourself. You are more capable that you realize you are. What you learn in college now will help to grow you into productive members of society.
